I went here for a consultation on my hemorrhoid that I have had for years and have finally gotten around to getting checked out professionally as I am now old enough to feel comfortable doing so. She isn't the friendliest face in that office, that's for sure. However, the biggest thing that bothered me about my time with Amanda Era was that she didn't take a look at my hemorrhoid, let alone ask if she could. She had asked if I had a picture of it, I said no, and that was that. I was completely prepared to strip and bend over to show her my issue, so she could assess its appearance and severity and give me proper medical advice on it, but she did nothing of the sort, which lowkey threw me off. It's like if I went to the dentist complaining of tooth pain and discoloration, and they never looked inside of my mouth. She just asked me a bunch of questions related to my hemorrhoid like does it flare, what makes it flare, how often, size, any blood in stool or when you wipe, etc., which was good, but I wouldn't think that that would be enough. I'm not the medical professional, so I don't understand how she thought that a mere interview without a physical examination was sufficient.

Dr Taunk was extremely personable and explained the procedure and results very clearly. This was my 2nd visit for this routine preventative procedure with Dr Taunk. That should explain the trust I have.
